I'm opening this discussion on the aliens/UFOs page and invite anyone here to
join us there for a lively discussion.

Coming up on the 50th anniversary of Apollo-11,
I'm dusting off and updating my page on UFO
stories associated with it, and want to ask
ATSers to suggest elaborations, additions, or corrections.

www.jamesoberg.com...

At the link, the last two sub-links are redundant, I will delete the first of them

At the link, I plan to add
"Here's the ONLY verified American amateur radio reception of Apollo-11 crew comments [it links to another reported reception in Germany, the only other known one in the world] -- www.arrl.org...

..and also add:
Spurious claims from 'whistle-blowers':
dorkmission.blogspot.com...

Please, what evidence/arguments does anyone know of to modify or reverse these assessments?

If there was a secret back channel to mission control on the Apollo 11 mission would it be included on the publicly available specs? Would NASA do something like put a secret channel just in case they encountered something alien?

Was that something they would have thought about when planning the first trip to the moon? I'm sure someone somewhere had to think about the chance we might encounter something up there.

Yeah, but wasn't that because those re-entry capsules could land pretty much anywhere out in the middle of wild Russia, and they were so the astronauts could defend themselves against bears and stuff? Not aliens.

it's intended brief was defensive. fixed forward facing barrel limits opportunity to shoot critters on the ground.

I suppose one could lure a bear into line of sight lol!
