North Carolina elections board orders new House election after ballot tampering scandal

Big news out of North Carolina's 9th congressional district after multiple, serious instances of election fraud were carried out on behalf of the GOP candidate Mark Harris. The board of 3 Democrats and 2 Republicans came to a unanimous decision to hold a new election to decide who would represent the district.

A new primary will be held along with a new general election due, almost entirely, to the actions of Republican operative Leslie McCrae Dowless who has been accused in the past of similar misconduct. The decision came after damning testimony from Mark Harris' son saying that he had warned his father about Dowless and that the son believed what he was doing was illegal.

If true, he needs kicked out immediately, fined, possibly arrested.

We can't have our Republican representatives acting like Democrats, after all.

As voters we need to be able to distinguish the two parties by their actions.

And in 99.9% of the cases , the poor Dems lost their challenge

As voters, we need to quit worrying about parties and elect the best people.

But yeah... clean house of anyone involved in the scandal.
