Volcanoes and Earthquakes – An Interview with Eric Hadik

Eric believes that there are a 14/28 year cycle and a 17 year cycle for earthquakes and eruptions. The 17-year cycle occurring because of a ‘to and away’ magnetic relationship between the Sun and Earth cores (work by David Juckett describing geo and solar magnetic cycles).

Eric is warning that increased volcanic events are likely between 2018-2020 because the different cycles are both co-coinciding within this period. So he is warning to keep a close eye on the likes of Mount. Sinabung, Indonesia etc which has started to behave erratically of late.

Mount Sinabung is only 25 miles away from the Toba Caldera. Toba is a supervolcano that erupted 75,000 years ago with eruptive volume estimated between 2000 km3 and 3000 km3 (VEI8 erruption). A study has found that the magma in Toba’s system is identical to the chemical fingerprint and zircon crystallization of Mt. Sinabung, So Mt. Sinabung magna chamber is likely to be same source of Toba.

The last eruption of Mount Sinabung occurred in Feb 21, 2018 after rumbling for 7 years. The eruption may be a precursor to a much larger event. However Toba itself seems to have a period of 300,000 to 400,000 years before major eruptions so we should be safe from a VEI8 erruption at least.

It's an interesting theory - couple of weeks ago we had the most incredible electric storms in the UK. Over 60,000 lighting flashes in a mattter of hours. One of the storms went right above our town and the bizarre thing was that for every lightning flash or set of lightning flashes, there wasn't any thunder. Even when the storm was directly above.

That sounds weird! If it was close proximity cloud-to-ground lightning you should have heard the thunder. There are pictures of cloud to space lightning called sprites that may not cause thunder.

so do you think this is the only volcano or this is just one of the bigger ones that's going to go off?

remember that old thread tracking CME's and earthquakes?

hmmm, pacific rim uprising huh... sounds interesting

No, he is not predicting a doomsday event, just an increased potential for earthquakes or eruptions the world over. Phlegrean Fields, Italy is the only super volcano which Volcanologists have raised fears over the decades that it may be approaching another eruptive phase (declared red in 1983). Luckily these events are very rare, occurring once in 5,000 lifetimes. But those chances are somewhat better than lotto. So civilisation as a whole should be prepared for the worse instead of ignoring the inevitable and hoping for the best.

It looked like cloud to cloud lightning -just these quick purple, white or flashes in the clouds.

It could be "heat lightening" where the lightening strike is too far away for the sound of the thunder to travel.

I've also seen a lot of cloud to cloud lightening that doesn't generate thunder. But it tends to be short lived.

Volcanoes can also generate lightening. And something like ball lightening has been described in the context of large Earthquakes.

Tis Nibirus approach causing these eruptions ...and things shall continue to escalate IMHO.

interesting. i wonder if this cycle is why they seem to be hammering on earthquake preparedness and drills in Manila the last couple years.

Of Course!

That's the most rational explanation!

I know huh...same with how Oil is made....lol...who would have thunk it was renewable every 3657 years and we were one of the base components.
