This is from a little segment on the drummers of Frank Zappa.

this is a live performance of Chester Thompson, Ralph Humphries, Terry Bozzio and Chad Wackerman

these guys all toured with Frank at various times and have played some of the most complex and dense pieces you will find.

this is a fantastic little show

this is the real prize though. i am obsessed with Frank so i love it but even if you are not obsessed i recommend this little interview/round table with those guys plus Ruth Underwood. they have a lot to say about Frank and how he composed and rehearsed.

great #

I seen Bozzio with 'Fantomas.'
The man is an animal.
Ditto that for Lombardo.

Saw bozzio a couple times. Animal is right.
He is probably franks most well known. Vinnie is prob the best but Chad was franks favorite.

Frank Zappa and David Bowie were both able, but the Kings of off key and sour notes as long as I can remember.

Good, but...

as always S&F...

If you haven't seen it yet, search Godsmack drum duel on Youtube. Enjoy.

I couldn't help but play along with my fingers on the desk...

Funny...my hands hurt now...

I brought my iPad in to work the other day and was tapping away on "garage band" trying to save on my desk...

Those drum sets...oh man...if I only had the room...

Thank you so much for this...too cool...
