I come from the other side
just like you
only now I remember

For me, Its taken quite some time
to crack through this code
Believing, repeating, acting
day in day out.
All just to fit in
I was taught to stand out
to stomp down
to compete.
Yeah, you know what I mean
knocking people off their feet.
another day another loser
that I'm gonna have to beat.
Attack my own kind
its the way of leaving
that past way behind.
It was the easy way!
Righteous living.
oh, come on now
how stupid was I
how unkind.
Until one day I took a beating
someone showed me their hand.
Since then I learnt
I was misdirected
full of pride
I was catapulted
deep deep into the other side.
Now all I could to do
is brake down all the lies
I had foolishly given in to.
Thanks to the cosmic slap
I am now living life
taking it all in.
I've given up the ghost.
pushing all the bull, aside.
What was once reality
is now just that.
Another movie, another ride.
