HooHaa!
I blew the lid off one
of those once jarring tomato Sauce.
The whole kitchen was Red the next day.
Never ,Ever, fall asleep when a pressure
cooker is on the stove.

Good God Almighty!

The two people I know who have Instant Pots love them.
Both are pretty good cooks.

Time savers.
Doesn't heat up the kitchen.
Versatile.

I have used pressure cookers long ago....good for making tender meat from tough cuts....but I don't miss having one.
These new pots are different....and from what I hear do more than pressure cook.

Cooking is chemistry and PC is reactor. You should not operate heavy machinery under influence ...

I figure your statement of advice
is based upon experience.

Do tell.

I am listening.

Stopped being lazy and actually used the Instant Pot tonight.

This thing is AWESOME!

Whipped up some brown rice in chicken broth with some Goya Sazon (which I somehow just heard about). I hate cooking rice, and I somehow usually mess it up. Came out PERFECT and was only hands on for maybe a minute or two!

Cooking up some lentils right now, then I'm steaming some vegetables and hard boiling some eggs.

Perfect for my laziness levels!
