Stronger than reason
Stronger than lies
The only truth I know
Is the look in your eyes
The look in your eyes!
Just like a car crash
Just like a knife
My favourite weapon
Is the look in your eyes
You've run out of lies!
You've run out of lies!
You've run out of lies!
You've run out of lies!
You've run out of lies!
You've run out of lies!
You've run out of lies!
There's a ton locked in your empty eyes
Get out of my life!
I'm chewing on glass
And eating my fingers
I'm not the one
Who's run out of lies
Lies!
You've run out of lies!
You've run out of lies!
You've run out of lies!
You've run out of lies!
You've run out of time!
Cutting my face
And walking on splinters
I lost my soul
To the look in your eyes
Your eyes!
You ran out of lies!
You ran out of lies!
You ran out of lies!
You ran out of time!
Stigmata!
O, you have empty eyes!...
They tell me nothing, nothing but lies

You do realize that the videos killed the radio star?

I hate liars too. BIG TIME.

I'm past my prime though, anger comes and goes. I only have a short few years left so ...

One of my favorite bands and one of the best live bands I've ever seen, especially the first time in 92. I liked this album but the follow up, A Mind is a Terrible Tging To Taste is one of my all time favorites.

I saw that particular tour, it was very nuts. Probably the most intense show I ever saw. Al Jourgeson was just pounding a bottle of whiskey the entire show - taunting the audience. People were throwing beer bottles at the stage (thus the chain linked fence). There was no summer of love in 1990.
I think there was just this sort of disgust in the late eighties and early nineties that was very outside of anything else in American history. The side bands these guys had were pretty intense as well. Revolting Cocks, Thousand Homo DJ's, a few others - I think Pigface. Very strange music scene, I suppose it still is - industrial music.

Revolting Cocks - Gila Copter (feat Timothy Leary)

Revolting Cocks - No Devotion

Revolting Cocks - Stainless Steel Providers

Another old fav put in similar genre - Skinny Puppy:

Skinny Puppy - Dig It

Ministry - Jesus Built My Hotrod (feat Gibby Haynes)

Good to see another Revco fan on here! The late 80's and early 90's were definitely a completely alien world that would put most people today in a mental hospital if they had gone to the shows we've seen.

Recently saw Front 242 and Severed Heads up in Chicago. Good times, but I got too drunk.

Back in the day, I was really into that stuff. Godflesh, Thrill Kill Kult, Frontline Assembly, Feotus, but I would have to say that era for Ministry/RevCo/Skinny Puppy were never topped. Pure insanity.

One of the best shows I ever played was opening up for Godflesh when they had Ted Parsons from Prong playing drums live. One of the best shows I've had the pleasure to see let alone play. They weren't quite as good as Ministry live but that's to be expected because you can't compete with a half dozen flailing bodies on stage vs. 2 stodgy Brits but they were still really good. I wish I had seen Ministry on the tour you did when Chris Connelly was still in the band. Closest I got was when I had the VHS for In Case You Didn't Feel Like Showing Up. It looked pretty F'ing epic to say the least but a thing the time I lived in a small ass town in upstate NY and Ministry wasn't coming anywhere near us then or now haha. Luckily as I got older and got into playing live with my own bands, I had the opportunity to travel a bit and I'll head down to NYC a few times a year to catch shows that don't make their way up to Albany.
