expensive. That is an absolute killer: the Indians fly their planes often and hard, in conditions that are murder on airframes and engines (hot and
humid). The FGFA may be a great plane initially when it works, but what is likely to happen at present is that it will have a low availability rate,.
will cost a lot to keep flying and when it does, things will go wrong. Sure all new planes have problems, but the ones the Indians have identified are
real budget killers.
