Discovery Air Defense has announced that they have finalized a deal for "a large number of F-16s". They plan to offer them as their entry for the
upcoming ADAIR contract. The Pentagon is looking for 37,000 hours, with 140-150 aircraft, at up to 13 bases.
Currently most entries are using older aircraft, such as the A-4, or Mirage F1. Being able to use F-16s would be a leg up for Discovery. They haven't
disclosed where they're getting the aircraft from, but the most likely candidate is Israel.
