Learning the Photo,Meme Ropes

I always wanted to learn how to make a meme. I went online and did some home work. The picture is one I took about 2 years ago at a Blue Angels air show.
In the process of learning the meme I learned how to resize the picture. I feel having learned this I may be able to do some threads on some of the many photos I have taken in the past.

If you want a suggestion for an easy online pic editor including text and all kinds of fonts I suggest ipiccy.com
Also another suggestion is that if you use white text on a bright background is better to make it a small shadow or a dark outline so it can be easier to read.

Thank you....I was watching a youtube video where it was showing how to put a shade around the letters. I am using paint shop prox9 version. It seems somewhat easy to use. Also imgur was a good one to use.
