Liberal Vice media goes after Trump admin gender salary gap

This may not be gender discrimination. If you think about it, the reason is really simple. The president is a man. The vice president is a man. All the secretaries except 1 is a man. There are only 2 women secretary, the secretary of education, Betsy Devos, and the secretary of transportation, Elaine Chao. There is only 1 woman administrator, the administrator of small business, Linda McMahon. It seems to me the salary gap is due to job level rather than gender discrimination. Low level employees obviously don't earn as much as high level ones. It's not like a fries maker at McDonald's has the same salary as the CEO of Lockheed, regardless of gender.

Apparently, it's not the same jobs. On CNN's original article it says the following.

The disparity is primarily due to more women filling lower-ranking jobs. Half the men working at the White House make $95,000 or more annually, while half the women $70,100 or less. The top salary for permanent employees at the White House is $179,700. Among the 22 employees making that, only six are women.

Good point. The reason whites are becoming minority is not enough babies even though they earn far more than African Americans.

CNN is in a major lawsuit in Georgia for discrimination for both race and gender.(especially race discrimination . the network that states nearly everyone is racist and/or sexist is about to have their a** sued off for the exact same reason)
Another reason if the AT&T deal goes through , AT&T may drop CNN like a hot tater

I think you are correct. This is more about the positions, their level within government and their corresponding pay, not about gender.

Its always apples to oranges, always.

Be it different positions, different hours worked, different time in the company, etc.

The pay gap via wage discrimination has been debunked time and time again, the earnings gap (which is real) is almost always down to choice
