With the sad passing of an icon Chris Cornell, Maynard James Keenan from Tool took to twitter with a message and a video of him and Chris Cornell doing peace love and understanding.

Hope you all enjoy. Seems we're starting to loose the greats from the 90's. I hope that trend stops. The 90's is where my musical love started and is based off of.

Why didnt he seek help if he had a mental illness.

He was a good musician.

Damn. This one hit me hard. Why do all the great ones have to go? The guys who sang the soundtrack to my youth are all gone. RIP

Love this

On XM there is a station called lithium. Plays nothing but all the greats from the 90's.

I didn't realize it at the time but the early to mid 90's were truly a golden age for rock n roll. So many epic bands and songs from that era. It was a great time to be an angry teen.

I listened to some old Soundgarden this morning and actually found myself weeping. This is extremely out of character for me. The music brought back a flood of memories and emotions I forgot existed. In some way, the passing of Cornell symbolizes the
end of my youth. Gone but never to be forgotten.
