Slip sliding away

In a world, where everyone is faulty and there is no future, Where we are lead to believe we are hopeless useless beings. Where we ourselves believe we are worthless and childish waste of space. There just has to be a bully, hidden behind veils and masks. A bully, that projects and pumps his own rotten reality on to us, laughing as we play the part. Watching us dancing to his beat and embodying his twisted vision of hatred, desperation and manipulated reality.
His satisfaction is to see us rotting slowly, sliding into dark pits of blindness and the inability to even know how we arrived in such a place.
Till one day, we realise his shapeshifting face. The hidden bully who takes our innocence and delightfully exploits.
His time dwindles, his way slowly but surely slip slides away. His city's crumbles, his systems fall and never reboot. It is time for us all to remove him right from inside us, right at the root. For it is there where he whispers, his lies, he dreams of capturing humanity's light.

I think you know who he is. What is his identity? What is the cure? What hand gives the same medicine that brings the sickness; is the same face that sees the crime?

Will you name this entity that is causing all of this pain and suffering?

Do you think there could possibly be anything positive that comes from this oppression? Something along the lines of the phoenix. That by being exposed to this hell on earth makes possible the beautiful, original and unique dream of a future we have not tried yet.
