This past weekend I was driving in midtown and I saw something I hadn't seen before.

Very often a car will drive by that will have one of those pins/decals on the back that displays the Mason symbol. Nothing unsual about that.

This car though had something I hadn't seen yet.

It had letters on each side of the symbol.

ASK1 [symbol] 2B1

(Or the other way round, but same point)

Has anyone else ever seen this? I just found it interersting.

These bumper stickers are in fairly wide use. They are not soliciting membership, mearly informing the public of our pratices.

2B1ASK1 is a common phrase used by Masons. It is not recruitment or soliciting, merely giving people that opportunity to ask and find out more. In order to be a Mason, YOU must seek out Masonry, not the other way around.

Oh no. I definitely wasn't saying they were soliciting membership or anything. I just hadn't seen it before and was wondering if it was common or just a single person.
