My mind is completely blown.
I have never heard of this marvel of mechanical engineering and fine craftsmanship.
This thing makes the Antikythira mechanism look like a kid's toy.

Thats a very interesting piece of engineering and I am glad to be aware of it, but a comparison to the Antikythira mechanism ix a little unfair. They were made almost 2000 years apart from one another.

Impressive. This indeed was work of a genious - and a very persistent one! It must have required more than fair amount of time in experimenting and perfecting the techniques involved. Just totally mindblowing!

I'm watching.

It makes me feel uncomfortable to watch them dismantle the device because I keep thinking about

how easy it would be to break it or screw it up Especially since they have no idea how it works.

There basically reverse engineering it.
