New tests reveal the Turin Shroud to be far older than carbon dating first suggested, and may indeed date to biblical times as believers claim.

Raymond Rogers, of the University of California's Los Alamos Laboratory, argues that carbon-dating tests on the shroud in 1988 were "invalid" because they were performed on a replacement section rather than the original linen.

I believe at the time ('88), the Roman Catholic Church had high hopes for the shroud which supposedly bears the image of Jesus after he was taken from the Cross, I'm sure the Vatican must be excited once again, to hear its age could very well be from 1,300 to 3,000 years old. After reading the article and knowing the history behind the Shroud, do you believe it holds the image of Christ?
