The White Helmets are a very fashionable cause. A little research reveals many claims about them. Central to these claims is the message that these are part of modern warfare. Disinformation artists.

What does ATS think? Do the White Helmets bring stability? Or is it all an act?

For the REAL Syria Civil Defence you call 113 inside Syria. There is no public number for the White Helmets. Why not? Why does this multi-million dollar US & NATO state-funded first repsonder ‘NGO,’ with state of the art equipment supplied by the US and the EU via Turkey, have no central number for civilians to call . . .

White Helmets founder Le Mesurier, who graduated from Britain’s elite Royal Military Academy at Sandhurst, is said to be an ‘ex’ British military intelligence officer involved in a number of other NATO ‘humanitarian intervention’ theatres of war, including Bosnia, Kosovo and Iraq, as well as postings in Lebanon and Palestine. He also boasts a series of high-profile posts at the UN, EU, and UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office. Not to mention his connections back to the infamous Blackwater

Here's their 'donate now' link. Boris seems to be keen. www.whitehelmets.org...

Is this what they are calling the terrorists Nato/UN military advisors now?

After reading two of IIB's exposes(sp) I'm just going to assume anything or anyone from the West is either a spy or worse.

White Helmets are al-qaeda militants sponsored by the west and often coming from western European countries. I wouldn't be impressed if went to fight from the UK to Syria paid by the British government.

Anyone who follows the Syrian Civil War knows that the White Helmets are a rebel group. They only operate in Rebel-controlled areas (never in government, Kurdish, or ISIS-controlled areas), and they try to present themselves like they're a Red Cross/Red Crescent-type humanitarian group. They produce a lot of staged propaganda photos, and other reports suggest that they have a thuggish, enforcer-type role within the areas they operate.

The white helmets are nothing more than a propaganda wing of the Islamist terrorists.

They pretend to be an "Humanitarian NGO", whereas in actuality there role is the production of propaganda to rile up the ignorant people in the West in a pathetic attempt to draw us into the war itself.

They also like to smuggle weapons in all those "food" and "medicine" crates.

At least a few of their videos about the "crimes of the regime" were filmed at a studio in Saudi Arabia, sometimes using the same actors for different films.

If you actually watch the footage they produce the "doctors", "civilians" etc. they interview all seem to look suspiciously similar to Al-Nusra fighters.

The real "white helmets" are the Syrian Red Crescent and the Syrian Civil Defence. Which of course cannot operate in terrorist held territory because they'll be murdered by the "moderate" opposition.
