Can our experts push their threads up to address whats going on in their opinion(s)?www.iris.edu... Each of these threads are informative, but it take's so long to go through them all... We need something current, as it is in the activity going on here... www.iris.edu...
Were a month after the fact, it's different then most! Where is your thought on this?, And Mods how would you like to direct this thread to a thread, that offers the most insight thus far? Sorry to take up space to ask, but others will take notice by doing so. No Conspiracy here, Just maybe some over site. Or have I gone just a bit overboard on this to be concern?
Just need to know.

Jesse,

This really is a *very* normal occurance. It takes a long time for the plates to stabalize after an earthquake of that magnitude. It's not at all uncommon of *frequent* aftershocks to occurr for months after a big quake. This wasn't just a big quake though, this was a HUGE quake, 600 miles long by some estimates. I wouldn't be surprised if it takes almost an entire year for that fault line to settle down.

Regards,

Osiris
