Operation Northwoods called for remote controlled planes to meet up with passenger planes in the air and the passenger planes to go land and the remote controlled planes to be painted to look like the passenger plane to be "shot down" by "Cuba"

Just knowing government plans from the 60s to use remote controlled aircraft in a false flag attack gives one reason to look closer at other events involving terrorism and planes..
