31 US marines feared dead in a helicopter crash in western Iraq.

If confirmed, it will be the single worst loss of life for US forces since they invaded Iraq in 2003.

The aircraft, carrying troops from the 1st Marine Division, came down in bad weather near the Jordanian border, Pentagon sources told the BBC

I haven't been able to find the cause of the crash yet but whether it was because of enemy fire or technical difficulties, it's still a tragic loss of life.

Right now it is looking like it was weather related. I think there are some bad dust storms in that area that may have been the cause.
