They are going to test a small nuclear reactor in the DAF (Device Assembly Facility) on the Nevada Test Site. The DAF is designed such that if the fecal matter hits the fan, it won't spread very far. (How comforting. ;-)) You can also tell it is designed for security.

The video also goes into the NERVA project, which was a nuclear rocket engine project that was intended for a Mars mission on the 1960's.

I forgot to mention the DAF is a visual marker for the Janets. You hear it mentioned on the scanner.

Needless to say, the DAF isn't on the NTS tour.
