The shark diver gets a bit more than he bargained for when the shark gets in the cage.

Yeah, I was glad to see it got out appearing little worse off for the experience. I was glad the diver got out too. An animal that large thrashing around in there could do some serious damage before you know it.

A little worse off.??? Bleeding from the gills is not good for a Shark..

It likely banged its mouth up and that's where the blood is from because there certainly isn't a persistent trail of blood that follows it away. So it's not gushing blood.

Not only that, but a lot of female whites routinely have scars along their gill areas suggesting that they routinely get bitten there as part of the mating ritual.

Whites also heal very quickly and from damage that would kill most other critters.

So I doubt the shark is going to be dying from this.
