Greatest movie ever made.

Who can forget the Holy Hand grenade of Antioch (and the inanely stupid instructions for its use) or the Knights of Ni who just want a shrubbery. The taunting Frenchman who will fart in your general direction, your mother was a hamster and your father smells of elderberries. And probably one of the most memorable quotes of the film is the black knight stating 'Tis but a scratch'

Still incredibly watchable 40+ years later.

What it may or may not mean is immaterial.

Someone cut a drama trailer out of it that I found humorous just like the one where they recut Jaws to make a romance and Mary Poppins into a horror flick or cut scenes from Frozen over the 50 Shades of Gray trailer.

You don't have to get into the "deeper" meaning of the actual film in order to find it humorous or enjoy.

For the record, watery tarts lying around in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of governance.

And Come and see the violence inherent in the system! Help, help, this thread is being oppressed by the Buzzkill!

Ah... fun with music! It is the music that makes the remixed trailer! All of the duh-duh-duhnnnns!

I like the cast member role call! Especially "Brave" Sir Robin as a dramatic hero because I can still hear the minstrel singing, "His eyes gouged out, his spleen run through, his penis spli..." Robin, "That will be enough of that!"
