Source of recent "LEAKS" - NSA Cyberweapon "Up" for auction

We've only seen the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the recent leaks of the Democrats. Julian Assange has said;

“We have a lot of material related to the US election campaign, including related to Hillary Clinton’s campaign, to the Clinton Foundation, and to the DNC,”

So where are all these leaks coming from? Was it simply malware infecting servers through email, or was it deeper?

An organization called "Shadow Brokers" is promising to release the coding the NSA has been using. They are hoping to raise nearly 570 million dollars. Wikileaks is saying they will be releasing the code at no charge.

The auction for an advanced, National Security Agency-linked cyberweapon just became cheaper.

After a day of speculation over whether the previously unknown “Shadow Brokers” could really be auctioning off an authentic stolen copy of the vaunted espionage group’s source code, WikiLeaks announced it would be releasing a free, “pristine” copy.


WikiLeaks — and The Shadow Brokers — claim to have copies of the code behind the Equation Group, labeled “one of the most sophisticated cyber attack groups in the world” when it was discovered last year. The operation went under the radar for 14 years before being discovered, well longer than other known attackers.
Equation is usually described as an NSA team because of similarities between its work and other projects attributed to the spy agency, as well as the use of NSA jargon within the program’s core.

IMO, this code has been available and used for some time by sources other than the NSA. If we are just finding out that this code was in use and it's now on "auction", you can be guaranteed that we won't uncover the next spy tool for another 5 years or more and that this "tool" is nearly exhausted in terms of effective intelligence gathering - by all organizations that had access.

I have always been optimistic in the face of this nefarious cabal of globalists due to one simple fact, this universe is founded upon balance.

They were underground for 14 years!?

I would imagine they silently infiltrated far more then what has been publically acknowleged and they deserve a welcome party IMHO.

I would venture to say that it is the hubris of these scumbags that will be dragging them down, kicking and screaming all the way to their jail cells!
