Well the link says it all. I haven't checked around other news sites to confirim it, but I don't have any reason to believe this isn't real.

Farther down this page is a thread about a Stalin-themed Amusement park in Lithiaunia. ...so, thoughts on this? I think it's a bit disturbing and it really makes me wonder about the future.

Glorious. I wish I had a cool soviet statue in my front yard. 60ft tall statue of Lenin and a high security fence should be enough to scare off most people

The article notes that Putin has brought back the sviet anthem and military flag.

Honestly, soviet symbols can be pretty damned cool. I'd bet a KGBer like Putin put the army flag back for a reason like that.

Although, perhaps he is also saying, if we maintain something of a facade of the old ways, then people will be happy.

Not unlike, say, Augustus maintaining a republican facade in rome, or not taking the name Rex, even though he was effectively king.
