Me neither. People don't realize how deep the conditioning is. We salute the flag all our lives and then when we turn eighteen they say look somebody is desecrating out national pride, we must defend the flag.

Same with religion, nothing gets people more riled up than desecrating their God.

Both religion and nationalism are fostered in children from a young age to secure their loyalty.
