You better be hungover or at least committed to gorging yourself into a shame diet.

If I give you my order you wanna come over and play Super Mario Brothers with me? I got the retro going onto a flatscreen.

I'll have a Big Mac, two double cheeseburgers, chicken sandwich, large fries, and then i'm going to bribe you to go to Jack In The Box. Also, that McDonalds order was legit. I will order that if I'm hungover. Then I hibernate in shame. Then a reheat all the food I thought I could eat later (I don't need to).

I like McDonalds

Lol! Good one! I like the regular burgers myself, but I really can't stand a Big Mac. Give me a Whopper any day!

I had a chicken/cheese McBurger with fries an hour ago on my way back from the pub. Dirt obviously, but filled a corner in my stomach.
I wonder if the OP thinks McD's should be giving free food to the homeless people here in SW England. How about KFC and all the other crap fast food outlets, or every other business that sells food.
Lame topic argument...rather ridiculous, in my opinion.

Socialism is planet wide.

What social commune you live in? NewYork? Paris? Berlin?

Ewww, cities are communal 'ism' and social 'ism'. Then theres religion-ism, educational-ism, political-ism, all to divide us against each other to exert and maintain control.

My point is that socialism isn't a one-size-fits-all model. It has it's merits, but has been shown to produce better under smaller population.

In larger economies it seems to corrupt absolutely. Then we end up with Venezuela.

Even if they could make one no one could afford one.

Socialism at its finest.

Thanks to sanctions and austerity in the name of Democracy. By the by, every city on this planet is social engineering on a grand scale. You'd be the first to cry if you called 911 and the firemen didn't show, the mail didn't flow, and the kids didn't go to public school.

But thanks for reminding everyone the evils of 'socialism'.

hypnotwits.

Lol. I love this idiotic argument. And no public libraries! Public libraries is Socialism! OMG! And for the record, it doesn't matter if the mail doesn't flow. All I get is junk mail anyway. Secondly, I'd just as soon not be forced to send my kids to public school. And third, nobody ever said society could not cooperate where it makes sense, like 911, for example. That doesn't mean you are therefore into socialism, which is SO GOOD that you have to force people to do it. The definition of "socialism" is an economy where production, distribution, and exchange is owned by government. Having a fire department does not qualify as "being socialist." Socialism: You make it. They take it. Good luck with that.

You don't need them so they don't exist...

Are you trying to convince me or yourself?

Whatever they call "public" doesn't really belong to us, does it. It belongs to the city or state or Fed.
Public roads, sidewalks, public transportation, public parks. All socialist, communist, ewww...

but we hate that, so we call ours "Public" and "National" and "Democratic" instead and hate the enemy we are told are different.

If you're ever going to be over near Issaquah on a Sunday let me know. There's a car show at XXX Burger and I would love to treat you and your family to some good burgers. This also goes for Lynnwood and Ballard. I'm serious, shoot me a message. I like you and think it would be fun to hang out.

Triple X

Should we tell them that we love Dick's? I'm actually not that into Dick's, but I still love Dick's.

Well, this turned nasty fast. The op just wanted to help a poor country with a bad government. I don't think his intentions were political in the least. He just wanted some relief for these people and felt the giant corporation McDonalds might be a little helpful in feeding the people.

(personally, I think they need more nutritional food than McDonalds)

The poor op had no idea the amount of creative and negative responses he would receive.

And here I thought or read or something somewhere that Americans are the most generous people in the world.

I think we can exclude a number of members on ATS in that group.

Glad you commenters had a good joke on the ops idea of helping others in need.

McDonalds are franchises ...they are individually owned ..... It isn't one big corporation.
