Reading and commenting in the forums has lead me to an interesting theory and would like to see how it plays out. Myself included, there are numerous people who are against SOMETHING...some seem against everything.

Lets try, what are you FOR? Now here's the challenge, leave out your political party. Don't mention any candidates past, present or future. What does your idealistic country look like?

I'll go first.

I imagine a tax system the is readily viewable, very similar to a 401k quarterly statement.
I would be notified, even if obnoxiously about upcoming votes and the city state level and laws being passed and who is behind them or opposed.
The Bill of Rights and Constitution upheld beyond anything else.
Truly equal justice in the courtroom.
Money out of politics.
Multi party political arena.
Less government.
More options for public education as far as curriculum and agendas be removed.

Lets see what you guys got!

Government gets out of people's personal choices period.

No government in my pants, in my bedroom, in my TV viewing habits, or my Internet.

Government gets out of Businesses or more keenly Federal Government gets out of Businesses.

No three letter soup agencies, except the ones Explicitly accounted for in the Constitution. (note Marines are Navy just as Air force is Army. Fold them together)

Get Government out of my paycheck, Let them take their cut at the cash register only, they would be able to take more and have to return less, and people would spend like mad when 12.50 an hour is a REAL 12.50 an hour.

If it is a Matter of Personal Choice Government does not fund it period.

Get government out of subsidizing period, no businesses no schools no pet projects. Schools would drop their Tuition Rates if there was no Government Back Loans. Doctors would drop their Rates if there was No medicare.

Sunset SSI for everyone under 40, Let them Know they will not be getting it, let them freely put money away for their own well being. If over 40 you still pay into it, and you still collect it, but when there is no one left paying into it, Government has to foot the bill on the survivors until they all pass away...

Wipe out all existing EO, Laws that are not Amendments. have congress start over. Make bills one line item up or down, no riders no pork.

Reset the Entire federal government from white house, both houses of congress and the Court. New blood only no prior governmental Experience period.

We as a nation should not have to pay for Interns, assistants, or sectaries. Make them read their own one line item bills them selves.

Pull the Entire army and Navy and their sub branches home, also every toy they can fit to haul back, leave nothing deployed in any country out there.

Pull out of Nato and let it fly or die on it's own.

Trade with everyone on a matched tax +1 year basis... If their tax on our goods is higher then we match them, if they go lower then us after 1 year we match.

If any Nation goes to war we do not trade directly with them period. Nor with who they are fighting, they want US goods then they can buy them from 3rd parties at a Mark up.

Recycle all but the Necessary to defend our selves military gear into Space Rockets. Push for Lunar and Mars Colonies first. Then try to get further out.

Let the rest of the world take care of itself, we are sitting on enough designs in copyright to be Oil free in 3 to 4 years and enough reserves we can fuel our selves for quite a while.

When the government is back in the Black from a Zero based Budget then we can start adding public programs at a rate of 25% of the surplus not a penny more.

Give Congress back the responsibly of coining money.

On abortion marriage choice and other issues, leave that to the States to decide, if your in a state that has a view you don't like follow the rules of the state to get things changed or MOVE to a state that meets your Preference. The Federal government should have no say.

There you go. Now figure out that Mess.

I'm for:

1. Ending world hunger & food insecurity by having universal food security programs.

2. Ending homelessness. Or to be more exact, creating free public housing for all citizens of the world. If they choose to use or not is up to them.

3. Ending all wars. Make the politicians, businessmen, and powerbrokers fight out their disagreements themselves in the Octagon or at some monthly "Political fight Fest" event lol. They could even televise the events globally, raising money for the projects they're fighting over.

4. Ending all forms of rape, including in prisons.

5. True universal healthcare for the entire world. This would include all medical advances immediately become available to the rest of the world.

6. Fully automated industries. Robots and automation should create and maintain all human needs. That includes automated industrial farming, 3D printed buildings and infrastructure, and self driving passenger and cargo transportation. Humans should be able to spend our time living our lives as we choose, instead of working our lives away just to survive.

7. True freedom of religion and non-religion. Everybody should be able to choose their personal beliefs without fear of retribution or social shunning, as long as they do no harm to others.

8. A complete rebirth of the world's ecosystems. That means cleaning the oceans of plastics, restoring natural habitats in various areas, and much more. I ultimately envision all of our technology being biodegradable with predictable "lifespans", making landfills and polluted areas become a thing of the past. I actually think "advanced" societies in the past probably did this, as it's pretty stupid to litter your own habitat with toxic materials and wastes that will sit around for decades or centuries (like plastics, styrofoam, nuclear waste, etc).

9. Massive upgrades to our technology. I'm picturing worldwide high speed rail systems, international water desalination networks, and space colonies.

I also imagine smartphone-like devices that can translate all animal sounds in real time and portable devices that can identify all life known lifeforms and vegetation with a simple scan. I picture the 2nd device having a small section where you place a leaf or other matter into it, add a few drops of water in it, then let the device identify the contents.

That's just off the top of my head.

Then you have a good head on your shoulders........except 6. No dude..........just no. Humans doing whatever they please doesn't end well. It never has. We just haven't evolved yet to that point. Automation doing everything for us is a bad idea. Very bad. A good work ethic is something to strive for. Not working just to get by in a money centric society, that's no way to live, but working for the sake of working. Keeping our minds and bodies active and engaged in something other than our own mind. Again, our minds have not evolved to the point where there is a positive outcome from staying in it.

Moral socialism. A tight grip, tightened by those who see peace, respect for mother nature and far a less important monetary structure as being the way to live, needs to be put into place. Emphasizing spiritual growth and education until it's part of our DNA that we can live in peace for the sake of it and without rules and regulations placed by people in control.

Utopia. It will never happen, but it's nice to dream.

Hey, why assume people won't pursue spiritual growth and education as part of their free time? Just because robots would take care of the necessities doesn't mean people can't still be creative and pursue new goals. In fact, I think that's exactly what would happen. People would be able to spend more time traveling, with family, learning extra languages, reading/learning, etc. One of the saddest things to me is meeting people who've never even left their own province or state, much less gotten to travel out of their home country.

And imagine how many amazing potential explorers, astronomers, scientists, philosophers, and artists are being suppressed by our current "work or die" system. As in, far too many people are simply too poor right now to pursue these types of goals. I can imagine us finally "unleashing" the people around the world who dream of colonizing Mars, exploring our ocean floors, or document and collect living samples of every single lifeform on the planet (including microbes). Just think of all of the potential inventors who simply don't have the time to work on their new creations. My system could revolutionize all of that.

For example, imagine if a full 10% of humankind (730 million+ people!) were now working on various missions to colonize the solar system. We could have thousands of different missions going on at the same time. And we could have tens of thousands of development teams working on different complications, like developing genetically modified vegetation that can survive in those environments and developing specialized 3D printing systems that are customized for each planet's unique soil structures. And then if another 5% of humanity (365 million+) were working to find cures to literally every possible ailment that could affect humans and the other lifeforms on this planet. The possibilities are endless.

But right now, we live in a global society that suppresses its potential. We have entire countries where 70% or more of the population work on menial labor and sustenance farming. That's a waste of brainpower and labor. I don't think we'll ever become a truly advanced civilization until we've moved past that type of stuff.

Can you imagine us being visited by "intelligent" extraterrestrials, only to discover we simply met representatives from one of their corporations? And then learning that 80% their species still has to dig up roots everyday for their food supply and knit their own fabrics? And that only their richest clans could afford to travel away from their home villages, with only their corporations and militaries being able to travel through space. That would be the ultimate letdown. lol
