Nothing to Give

I have nothing to give, nothing of value.
I have nothing that would matter to you.
I have no money, can't buy all the things,
That would prove my love for you it seems.

You're so rich, I'm no more than a pauper.
My heart and my love's all I have to offer.
And I know that they aren't near enough,
To give you the life you're deserving of.

The only riches I have, are those of the soul.
My coffer is empty, but my heart is so full.
I'd give them to you, if I thought they would be,
Something that makes you see me as worthy.
