Three Chains

On my wrist I have three chains,
Each one of them bears a name,
Of a stone, I dared to cast,
A memory, from my distant past.

Three mistakes that I had made,
Lessons that won't ever fade,
Because I carry them with me,
These chains, my constant memory.

Someday, I hope that I'll forgive,
Myself for those three things I did.
Until then, I'll wear them solemnly,
Until this guilt is gone from me.
