What is the reason for constant name changing of the bunch of jihadits who run round all over the place supposedly doing all sorts of bad things.

Might the idea be to change their name every so often so people forget how long they've been around. Why do this, I dunno, perhaps as a way taking the p..s out the masses, perhaps as a way perpetraing their exisitance but making the masses think they've only been around a short time. Perhaps its some kind of social experiment. What od oyu think?

Whose behind all these name changes anyway. These sorts of things dont happen unless someone wants them to happen.

Her's a quiz, Can you remeber all the names ISIS had and the order they were in before they become Dash??

10 fiat coins to if you can.

Each time they invade another country, they need a reason, an enemy to justify their actions. Forgetting for a moment that the enemy is anyone who shoots back, the name given can't be associated with the people that rise up to defend their nation, they have to be called something else.

So Taliban won't work for Syria, they're the "enemy" in Afghanistan.

If the US is fighting inside a country the enemy are called insurgents, if the US is supporting an insurgency to conquer a nation they are called rebels.

Seems like it's an effort to create confusion, the more confusion the less anyone becomes a reliable resource. Great way to carry out a plan. Jihadi John sounds like a BS Evil Super Hero which I think he was/is.

So Al Qadi (spelling changes on a daily basis) and The Taliban have just faded away.....

They like to call themselves the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant.

Many in the West have a big problem with this name because it includes the world "state", thus it is seen by many politicians that if they call the group the "Islamic State" they are implying legitimacy to their territory being a sovereign state in the same way Germany for example is a sovereign state. Might seem like semantics to you and I but in terms of international relations this is quite a bit deal.

Further confusions is added to the name because different states go about addressing this problem in different ways so for instance the press in the UK will call them ISIS yet in France is Daesh this is further complicated because as the original group we now know as ISIS has evolved which leads to further confusion.

But to get to the real question at hand why are some now calling them Daesh, well firstly Da'ish is actually more accurate. Da'ish is actually a abbreviation for al-Dawla al-Islamiya fil ’Iraq wal-Sham which is Arabic for The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant. So Daesh (Da'ish) and ISIL actually mean the exact same thing. No real name change which when you think about it actually undermines the premiss of your thread.

Hope that explains it for you!

Yah, a different state than Syria, the real goal of the lies and subterfuge is to conquer Syria (which oh by the way, is a State and primarily Muslim).

No what i mean is that ISIS actually view themselves as a state just like Syria or France is a state. They believe they have created a sovereign state.

You can belief that if you want…lol

Thats what the propaganda machine mind meld wants us to believe. They are a state within a state, giving NATO the right to bomb them, a state within a state of Syria. The real target is Syria.

Convenient, that… isn't it?
