Does anyone have any missing friends from the Asian tsunami ?

Up until 12 hours ago I thought 3 of my friends had died on the southern coast of Summatra. I have spent the last few days with their families along with other friends. Some good news though, 2 of my friends were able to make contact with their families. A fellow tourist had a sat phone.
Unfortunately, my other friend Simon is still missing and we are fearing the worst. I am thinking of flyng over there with his dad, brother and 2 other friends to search. Something I am really dreading.

I was wondering if anyone is in a similar situation and what you are doing to find out, what has happened to them ? We have been warned here in Australia not to go and search due to the possibility of disease.
