I've heard that birds are sensitive to pending earthquakes. It seems like they are not the only members of the animal kindom with a sixth sense.

YALA NATIONAL PARK, Sri Lanka Maybe it's true that animals have a sixth sense.
That's what an official at an eco-park hotel in Sri Lanka says following the tsunami disaster. There are lots of human bodies but no animal
corpses.
And the account is backed up by an Associated Press photographer who flew over a national park. The photographer says there were elephants, buffalo
and deer -- all alive.
The park is home to 200 Asian elephants, crocodile, wild boar, water buffalo and gray langur monkeys. It also has Asia's highest concentration of
leopards.
Wildlife experts are surprised they've found no large-scale animal deaths. The theory is that the animals moved to higher ground as the killer waves
slammed onshore.
