Bugs

Mayflies are knee-deep on Iowa Bridge, grasshoppers and beetles show on radar- cloud 50 mile across in Texas.

We have had mayflies (fishflies for some of you) like that on the bridge between Dubuque and East Dubuque a few times in the past. Weird having snowplows out in June/July.

The june bugs get crazy thick in this neck of the woods.
Last year my dog ate so many of them she puked a pile of nothing but june bugs.
