MIRAMAR, Fla. - A doctor whose license was revoked for botching abortions, including leaving fetus parts inside a patient, was arrested on charges he
continued to perform the procedures.
Robelto A. Osborne, 44, turned himself in to police Wednesday and was released on bond. He was charged with performing medicine without a license, a
third-degree felony.
The state Department of Health contacted police about Osborne last month after receiving an anonymous tip about Osborne performing abortions at A Gyn
Diagnostic Center in Miramar.

Having worked in the medical community for the last 10 years it is very rare that they revoke a doctors license. Its is still quite a good old boy
network of sorts out there and they watch each others backs even in the most extreme cases. This has the unfortunate effect of keeping physicians in
practice that ought to peruse other careers. The same is not true for nursing. I have seen the most inept nurses allowed to continue to care for
patients, because as far as administration is concerned, they have a heartbeat and an active licence.
