One day after 6 threats were made against aircraft flying to the US, Eva Air flight 12 from Taipei to Los Angeles landed and was parking in a secure area after a bomb threat was called in against it. The plane, a Boeing 777-300, was parked on the west end of the airport, and passengers were escorted off. The FBI and Homeland Security searched the aircraft and luggage, and found nothing on the aircraft.

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Someone called in a threat to a flight from Taiwan that landed at Los Angeles International Airport on Tuesday, but nothing dangerous was found on board, authorities said.

The plane was inspected and its passengers' luggage was screened as EVA Air Flight 12 sat on the tarmac at LAX, but there was no evidence of a threat, FBI spokeswoman Laura Eimiller said.

The FBI, airport police and the Los Angeles police bomb squad jointly investigated the threat, which came by telephone. The investigation into the person or group responsible was ongoing.

For everything being so quiet for so long on these types of events, there sure has been an uptick in them. Right after Rand Paul's filibuster. Does anyone know if any of these threats were credible? Obviously any threat is scary. When I say credible, I mean have any weapons been found on any of the planes yet?

All I can say is that I'm glad that I am not a person who needs to fly ANY time soon. The other thing that's scary is that if a weapon was to go off in a plane, the people on the ground could be in danger. These are not the types of news stories that we should ever hear.

Maybe someone is going to use these as false flags then send a real threat out there which they are going to ignore.

They could be using a type of strategy with this.

That's what I was just thinking. "The Boy who cried Bomb, I mean Wolf." I wonder how many of these threats are they going to vigorously investigate before they get tired of it and not as vigorously investigate the one they should, then it does go boom?

They are doing this to "bleed us to death" monetarily. They know full well, how much it cost to delay a flight, bring in government agencies and what not.
They don't need to bring down a plane to prove a point. They know how to hit us in the wallet. Plain and simple.
