Looking for a book

Hey all,
I was just talking to a friend of mine who was recommending a book. The way he pronounced the title sounded like "eurancha" but he says it's spelled differently, beginning with a "uti...".
I briefly searched Google but can't find the book, and can't spell it! Does anyone know what I'm talking about?
