This story appeared some days ago but has re-emerged. Declassified documents purportedly show that two groups within the CIA used paranormal viewers to identify neclear and secret objects in other countries. Apparently, the war in Iraq was based, at least partly, on what these individuals provided.

The CIA had to acknowledge that it used remote viewers and other individuals possessing paranormal abilities for intelligence purposes. The groups of extrasensory individuals apparently worked without having any links with each other.

One of those groups was searching for information about spying on the territory of the USA (counterintelligence), another one was dealing with identification of nuclear and other secret objects in the country of an enemy (strategic intelligence).

This is an interesting story, one that reinforces what I heard about after the release of the movie Minority Report. It details how unconventional the CIA can be as well as the existance of remote viewing. Enjoy.

Edit: fixed title

I ton't think it's fair to say that the war in Iraq was based partly on remote viewing. The article mentions that that possibility can't be ruled out but it doesn't say anything definitive.

factories making weapons of mass destruction in third world countries, including Iraq (it is not ruled out that the information about WMD in Iraq sprang from remote viewers
