The patient, whose identity wasn’t released, was a doctor who recently came back from Liberia, a police source said. Department of Health and Health and Hospitals Corporation officials said the man did not have contact with Ebola patients.

this is a new one, reported dec 23, I did a search and didn't find anything on ATS (the one that came up in the search was from oct, so, different story)

The media certainly has grown quiet on the Ebola front, as of late, but that doesn't mean the threat is necessarily over.

The biggest fear I have, is the virus becoming endemic (like the flu or common cold).

I hope this is a false alarm.

This is why I'm glad I left the city. Things can spread down there very quickly. If the bedbugs don't get you eventually some major pandemic will...

Maybe the potential threat is greater than you are estimating.

Every new infection is another chance for yet another mutation.
