I'm happy to see scientists taking a new approach in studying animals at close range. Earlier attempts have caused stress to many animals and I would guess any data received after a species detects funny business could be compromised.

At first, I expected the penguins to tear this thing up. No penguin smell, body heat or communication. I was waiting for mommy or daddy to regurgitate dinner all over the top of its head but unfortunately that didn't happen. The video did cause me to laugh quite a bit though.

There is just something strange about watching it zip around, lol.

Seems we might have more in common with animals than we think, or penguins at least

I felt sad when the adult called to the baby but the baby never answered.

Don't be sad, he's just the strong silent type. Your not alone, I felt it too.

There is something cheap about fooling an animal. Seems like they just want to love and defend love in order to survive.

Hi, penguin fans !

We have seen/watched hours and hours of penguin filmed on PBS TV ! !

Check for possibilities there:
www.vpt.org...
www.mountainlake.org...

AND, it was MANY different penguin types,
and VERY well done camera camouflages !! B-)

Watching that video without sound was seriously disturbing

Psychotic tv programming at its finest. Does the reporters reaction really need to be filmed? What is she wearing? Some 1940s military surplus? Where do they find these bat# crazy people? Good job CNN

For one, CNN is like that carnival ride that spins and the floor drops from underneath you. There's nothing to stand on and you feel sick when you get off. Their ratings are sinking like a brick.

I find you attacking parts of the video that are irrelevant and pointless and it's even harder to understand where you're coming from if you haven't listened to the narrative. It seems like you tried hard not to enjoy it.

Oh well, to each their own.
