An unresponsive plane flying over the Atlantic Ocean is being watched by fighter jets, according to the North American Aerospace Defense Command.

The plane is a Socata TBM-700 light business and utility aircraft, and left from Rochester, N.Y. for Naples, Fla.

As of 11:30 a.m. the occupants on the plane did not respond to attempts to communicate.

The plane is somewhere between the Bahamas and Cuba and there are two F-15s that have been dispatched to track it. According to what I just heard on the news, the plane has been in the air for about 5 hours.

UPDATE:

I'm hearing now that NORAD is saying that the aircraft has entered Cuban airspace, the F-15s have broken off and a Cuban AF jet has been dispatched to intercept.
