Do you remember "Mission Acomplished", back in 2003. What happened? Didn't "we" "win" in Iraq?

In a December 2003 interview with Bob Woodward, President Bush said he had no problem with waiting for history's assessment, since by then all of the principals will be dead -- an observation that he repeated just recently in discussing the opening of his presidential library. Of course the judgment of history will evolve, but it has already begun to take shape. So far it is not a favorable assessment of the rationale for war.

source from 2013

So its realized now that we did screw it all up ? (due to bad waterboarding intelligence) - Gee - I wonder - was that the purpose?

The geopolotical plan back then is taking shape now ain't it ?

Even Wikipedia has some great info. "Mission Accomplished" was a 1943 US propaganda film.

Mission Accomplished can refer to:

The 2003 Mission Accomplished speech, given by US President George W. Bush, on May 1, 2003
Mission Accomplished, a 2004 BBC documentary by Sean Langan, on the Iraq War after Bush's speech
Mission Accomplished (film), a 1943 US propaganda film
"Mission Accomplished" (The Wire), an episode of US TV series The Wire

Does anyone got a clip... that would be interesting

But all in all - we are back to square 2002 ? ...

Yeah, but I think it should be pointed out that we supported that "brutal dictator" for quite some time. He didn't want to play ball anymore, so…..

Add to that the fact that Hussein was trying to unite certain parts of Afriica into a single currency and move away from the Dollar. I think he wanted to use the Dinar as the currency of choice. Add to that the vast underground resources of water in part of N. Africa and you will see the benefit for someone to de-stabilize the area.

So, the mission of de-stabilizing the area WAS accomplished. The de-stabilization will lead to conflict amoung waring tribes, the conflict(s) will lead to destruction of the infrastructure, corporations will move in to re-build, and have access to all of that water with Hussein out of the way. It's a win-win.....
