She is the first major doctor to treat American-Liberian Patrick Sawyer. She came ill and then recovered from Ebola, was discharged from the hospital and then dies not long after. What does this mean? It's sort of mysterious that they thought she recovered, when apparently she hadn't. Does this mean that Ebola could have a latent trigger? Is this more evidence that Ebola is mutating as it replicates? It sure is proving to be a strange and persistent virus compared to past Ebola outbreaks. I also saw a news report today that says 10 people have died in Congo who suffered from Ebola-like symptoms. So, this would add another African nation to the list.

Nigeria reports 5th Ebola death: A senior doctor who treated Nigeria’s first Ebola patient has died, taking the death toll in Africa’s most populous country to five, Health Minister Onyebuchi Chukwu said on Tuesday. Chukwu said the doctor was “the most senior who participated in the management of the (first Ebola) patient” in the country. Liberian-American Patrick Sawyer, 40, died in a Lagos hospital on July 25, five days after arriving at the city’s airport visibly unwell on a flight from the Liberian capital, Monrovia. “With this unfortunate development, the total number of Ebola virus-related deaths in Nigeria now stands at five,” Chukwu added.

Do we have anyone on ATS that could explain if her immune system was too compromised for her environment?

I'm not a fan of articles that leave more questions than answers. This is good to be aware of but, scary none the less.

As I read further into the Premium Times article it states that it was erroneously reported that she was discharged when she was in fact sick in a coma for a week, so the article states. But, the picture of the article above shows how she was initially reported to have been discharged. Oh well, guess we won't know for sure what happened there, but more likely that she never recovered.

Was it an error or was it to try and prevent more fear? They made this a huge mess didn't they?!

That's what I was thinking. Sure would make a lot more questions arise if it is true she died after discharge.

Biological Hazard in USA on Wednesday, 20 August, 2014 at 03:42

"A person who may have been exposed to the Ebola virus was checked into Kaiser Permanente South Sacramento Medical Center, health officials said Tuesday. Hospital officials alerted the Sacramento County Department of Health and Human Services, and department officials said they are in touch with the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The CDC will test a blood sample drawn at the hospital to detect whether the Ebola virus is present. Results are expected in a few days, according to county officials. "In order to protect our patients, staff and physicians, even though infection with the virus is unconfirmed, we are taking the actions recommended by the CDC as a precaution, just as we do for other patients with a suspected infectious disease," said Dr. Stephen Parodi, an infectious disease specialist at Kaiser Permanente North California. "This includes isolation of the patient in a specially equipped negative pressure room and the use of personal protective equipment by trained staff, coordinated with infectious disease specialists," he said. Kaiser would not comment on when the patient - it's unknown if they are male or female - was admitted to the hospital or where if they might have traveled recently to West Africa, where an Ebola outbreak has killed more than 1,100 people. This topic has a thread. The authors of the articles are either being censored or they didn't learn to answer all the who, what, when, why, where's when they're informing the public.

Being a Doctor maybe she Cured Herself with Colloidal Silver or some other W.H.O. Unapproved Remedy.

Did Big Pharma who want to push their Drugs/Vaccines get nervous and Order a Hit?

Just thinking outside of the Box.

That's a very good but sad find. Thanks. You have to have twenty posts to open a new thread, and when someone opens one on this I'll post the link of your post on it and will link it here as well.

EDIT: Whoops, see the post five above this one.

Didn't read every post on this thread. This is major news, maybe you should open a separate thread. Thanks for the coughs (have you had your Ebola check-up?). Good find.

New guy needs six more posts as of this writing, which can come quick if he's a succinct writer. Good to meet you, new guy!

Ebola seems to be designed to evade and suppress the immune system - it evades the immune system by having a miscoded gene that gets corrected once in cells Then it suppresses the immune system through restricting interferons communication using messenger RNA. You can imagine it builds up in an exponential way.

Not mutating. Perhaps she had internal hemorrhaging that caused another problem.
