The Onion reported that our president is thinking about selling our State.
The why is unclear...
maybe it's to pay down the national debt or maybe he's after a better retirement package...
I guess we'll just have to wait and see how much the appraisers think we're worth?

WASHINGTON—Hoping to get an idea of what the 138-year-old state might be worth, President Barack Obama dispatched a team of appraisers to assess the value of Colorado this week, White House sources confirmed. “Colorado has a lot of great things going for it in terms of spaciousness and its convenient central location, so I figured I’d have it checked out by experts just to get an estimate,” said the president, noting that with its great views, abundance of natural light, and highly ranked schools, the Centennial State’s value could reach well into the 13 figures. “I’ll admit there’s a little bit of crime and some recent fire damage that might lower the value a little, but overall, I think we’ll find the state’s in very good shape and a valuable asset to the American people.”

Yes I know it's a joke story... if we were really going to sell off a State it would be 'Texas'!

No need for an appraisal. Will the States go for Canada's offer to take back Beiber and Celine? It's a hardship but we'd do it.

They don't want him any more than we do...
I think of Beiber as their payback for stealing Alex Trebek ...

what we should is offer to keep Beiber in exchange for Vancouver and BC!

Should this be in the jokes forum? I mean, the Onion reported this? People are commenting on this?

Texas?!? I believe 'ems fighin' words.

I believe I'd sell New Mexico - or have we already?

Personally, I'd sell California and New York. I'm not sure we'd get much, but it sure would solve a lot of problems!

He would never sell Texas.

Texas is too big a piece of the economic pie. We have it all here. Employment, space, an arsenal, and all the tacos you can eat. Hehehe

Whoa there! Don't you go making up stories. You have it totally wrong.
Canada never ever said that, not even once. What we did was petition the WH to keep Beebs
