Joining after lurking for around 6 years

First of all, glad to meet all of you and to have finally taken the steps to actually talk to you =D. I am from South America (english is not my native language, so I apologize before hand for any mistake or butchery I might impose on your eyes) and I have been lurking this site for 6 years, if my memory serves me right. I usually skim titles on the front page and read what I find interesting from any of the forums. I actually joined because recently I started coming here a lot more to get some news (you guys seem to be the best to get up-to-date info, leaving aside the fun doom porn) and I wanted to follow a lot of threads but was a pain without joining (the search option and all that). My native language is spanish, so if you want or need some translation help for some thread, please don't doubt and just whistle to me. I play the guitar since I was little and right now, aside from my usual job, I am undergoing training to get the induction done into an USAR team (Urban Search and Rescue). I hope to exchange ideas and opinions with all of you soon.

I prefer a side of doom porn with my truth rather than the single serving crap they feed us in the main stream.
