That's the whole reason I wrote the post. It wasn't just the Cross itself. I went to Plum Island because of the N.Y Times best seller "Project Paperclip" Where it said one of the Nazi's brought here to work on science was stationed at Plum Island. His specialty was using insects to spread disease. Which Lyme disease from mosquito's has the same name as Lyme N.Y. That town is directly across from Plum island. So that's why the cross set of red flags. It wasn't random. My fault for not explaining more clearly when I posted.
