Maybe they are embarrassed in the part they played in the Obamacare debacle.

Maybe Roberts is ashamed that he allowed himself to be either bullied (or blackmailed, as many suspect but there is no proof, using the spying and personal past life digging mechanisms put in place by Obama) by the Obama administration into voting for Obamacare and has seen the disaster that has ensued on the country and the mockery that Obama has made of the law by changing it illegally (executive order is forbidden to change or alter law passed by congress) and flagrantly rubbing it in the face of the american people - embarrassing the court.
