In the dry oilfield in Dayton, Texas, scientists at the UoT has injected 1600 tons of CO2. The gas is binding to groundwater at 1500m deep.
Research so far shows that the southern parts of the US alone can store 300mrd tons of CO2.
Im no biologist. I wonder if this would work, that is, that the ground would actually make these gases being sucked up into the ground, and over time
becoming something useful for the ground. As far as I know, we need chlorosynthesis-something to make good breathable air of it.
