Actor Bob Hoskins, who was best known for roles in The Long Good Friday and Who Framed Roger Rabbit, has died of pneumonia at the age of 71

Not much to add as the news has just broken but rest in peace Bob I will always remember The Long Good Friday an absolute classic

Very sad news and i've thoroughly enjoyed him in a great many films - he also committed one of movie history's finest head-butts and deserves his celluloid immortality for that alone.

" Hoskins' father was a communist and brought up Hoskins to be an atheist"

I'll bet atheism isn't the only thing he taught him.
