Unless you can see another object that is the moon it looks like this is the moon ... are you saying that you see this object AND the moon at the same time?

Moon is opposite direction. Don't know what it is, second brightest/ largest object I know of is Jupiter or Sirius. Clearly it's neither.

It was dark for the rest of the sky though then the weird sunset cloud section I.e. The picture. I have no idea what it is. Now the sun is coming up, prolly gone forever. Was sweet while it lasted.

I live near the bottom of lake saint clair . It was towards the south/ southwest. And the moon was more above and not nearly as bright

I thought you said you saw this to the west and you thought the moon was in the East?

The moon sets in the West.

He did. He said it was to the west, just a bit to the South. That means it would have been right next to the Moon really. Nothing here is making any sense.

No, it doesn't. It sets in the West, where you saw this. How are you claiming you saw the moon setting in the East? There is ZERO possibility you saw the moon on the opposite side of the sky as this, zero.
